Vinification method: Loamy, sandy terraces planted along the banks of the Vienne River give a naturally subtle, delicate wine. The wine is vinified at moderate temperatures and is macerated for a short time in order to preserve its natural flavour and aromas.
Wine and food: This is an easy drinking wine; fruity and aromatic with round, silky tannins. It can be tasted very young, a wine with subtle aromas of red fruit and spices and notes of violet and liquorice in the mouth. This wine is particularly suited to cooked and cured meats, with barbeques, fresh water fish and white meats.
