Vinification method: The low yield of these « old » vines gives a concentrated flavour and good, structured tannins. A long maceration period and controlled temperatures allow us to extract the maximum amount of aromas which give a fleshy, naturally well balanced wine.
Wine and food: This wine has a beautiful deep ruby colour and has a powerful fruity, floral nose. The attack is frank and lively when the wine is young, after a few years it offers a variety of candied fruits with a velvety finish. This full-bodied wine goes beautifully with both red and white meats and cheese.
